Step No. 1
Site Survey
We began by going to Rockstars Garage, located in Plainfield, IL. We had to learn the maximum capacity of the space, and what sections of the venue there were. We concluded we could sell 75 tickets, and 25 of those would be considered VIP, as the venue has a space upstairs.

Step No. 2
Budget Planning
We planned the prices of tickets, and what they would be. Regular ticket prices were $50 and VIP tickets were $75. $980 went to catering for the event. Our goal for the entire event was to raise $5,000 in honor of Karen Randazzo who lost her fight with Multiple Sclerosis.

Step No. 3
Social Media
In order to reach people to attend the event, it was our job to post information on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. We included Becky Pantano, who was our MC for the live jazz event. She is an MS warrior, as well, and by including her, we were able to spread more awareness about MS.

Donations, Fundraising, & Sponsorships
All of the students were responsible for finding donations for a Silent Auction at the event. Attendees could pay for raffle tickets to win baskets the night of the event.
Students were required to find event sponsors. This included three tiers: $100, $500, and $1,000. We included a Tax Exemption Form, as well. All of our sponsors are listed on the "Fundraising and Budget" page and in the image below, as well. |
