About Our Social Media Team
The Social Media Team consisted of Bridgette, Josie, and Grace. To begin posting on social media, they had to get information about the event, content to post, and come up with flyers that can be posted weekly, but had to be creative. Social Media is complicated; it can leave a digital footprint if something is not done correctly. They had to ensure that there was consistency, that logos were included in all posts, and that everything was spelled correctly. This team had access to Rockstars Garage's social media outlets for posting. They got all flyers and the creation of a TikTok profile approved by the owner, Steve Randazzo and creative director, Rich Hemmingway. Posts on Facebook and Instagram were set for Mondays and Wednesdays leading up to the event, while TikToks featuring Becky were posted on Fridays. For @rockstarsgarage's TikTok, we included Becky Pantano, who is currently fighting Multiple Sclerosis. She constantly keeps an upbeat, positive attitude, and she shared those in the weekly TikTok's, despite the constant challenges she faces. As per Facebook and Instagram, flyers were created using canva.com and express.adobe.com, then sent and approved by Steve and Rich for posting. This team was also in charge of creating this website as a portfolio for our Special Events class at Lewis University. All of their content is included in the gallery below this text.

Joselyn ShapiamaJournalism & Social Media | Senior"This has definitely been one of my favorite classes I have taken here at Lewis University. As a senior, I loved getting the hands on experience and the behind the scenes look at what goes on to create such an amazing event. Aside from the hands on experience, it was an overall fun class! I loved working with the amazing group of other students and the event venue owners! Everyone did an outstanding job and we created a beautiful, successful event. This is something I will cherish forever as my final days as a Lewis University student comes to an end."
